The AGD Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity; gifts to the AGD Foundation are fully deductible for United States federal income tax purposes, subject to the limitations placed on charitable gifts by the Internal Revenue Service.

The AGD Advocacy Fund is an initiative of AGD that funds actions in support of the practice of general dentistry as it relates to federal and state legislation or regulation, organized dentistry, and third parties such as insurance companies, manufacturers and advocacy groups. Funding these actions in support of the practice of general dentistry will enable dentistry to address the numerous work force and practice challenges that loom in the rapidly changing landscape of healthcare.
