2022 Faculty of the Year Award Winner

Dr. Alejandro Gonzalez

Faculty of the Year_GONZALEZ_ALEJANDRODr. Alejandro Gonzalez has been an influential leader at the Woody L. Hunt School of Dental Medicine. Student Georgia Blackwell shared that, “Dr. Gonzalez has put his heart and soul into this club. He knows exactly what we stand for and is a role model of the dentist/professional we all want to be throughout our careers. He is always ready to extend a helping hand with planning, finding speakers, or choosing which topic to discuss. He has also been an active member in our dental school community by attending every community outreach event, being an active professor and clinic mentor, and even coaching the Class of 2025 intermural basketball team. Dr. Gonzalez has ingrained himself into our community and has made himself into a mentor and advisor that all members of the club can lean and rely on.”

We applaud Dr. Gonzalez for all his hard work towards advancing the Woody L. Hunt student chapter!
